Second prize in the interior category for a small corner unit reorganised around a single wall and a single table. The jury remarked that the project spends its budget on daylight rather than finishes, and that the clerestory does more work than any fitting in the room.

Note

The cafe cost less than any project we have entered for anything. The jury said so, which was the useful part. Small budgets are not a handicap in this category and we would like more clients to read the citation.
